Adina Miller

Adina Wood Miller, 54, of Rinard and formerly of Des Moines passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025 at her home.

She left behind her children Emma Dee Miller (Keaton Fortune) of Johnston, Denzil Glen Miller of Orlando, FL, Ripley Ann Miller of Des Moines, granddaughter Louella Fortune and parents Glen and Phyllis Wood of Rinard.

Adina W. Miller was born October 12, 1970. She was raised in Des Moines and graduated from Dowling Catholic High School. Adina took time to raise her family and then went back to school. She graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Adina was a woman with many hats and worked in several long-term care facilities and nursing homes. She enjoyed working with those with mental disabilities and retired with the title of Executive Director.

Adina's creative spirit loved listening to music, dancing, and writing. She had many accomplishments, including authoring the book "Infinite Possibilities". She cherished being a mom to her "trifecta," and even to her German Shepherd, Louie and cat, Twila. Adina will be remembered for her sense of humor, wisdom and her immense love for her family.

Laufersweiler Funeral Home, Fort Dodge is serving the family. No services are planned at this time. Memorials may be left to the family's discretion.
