Vicki D. Fagan

Rockwell City Vicki D. Fagan 78, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022 at Shady Oaks Care Center, Lake City. Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 22, 2022 at the United Methodist Church, Rockwell City, with Rev. Dan G. Fernandez officiating. Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery, Rockwell City. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Church until service time. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the United Methodist Church, or to Sunnyview Independent Living, Rockwell City. Palmer & Swank Funeral Home, Rockwell City is serving the family. Vicki is survived by her brothers, Gary (Mickie) of Hudson, Wisconsin, and Dennis (Sherry) Griswold of Lakeville, Minnesota; sister-in-law Marcia Clemens of Clear Lake; brother-in-law Paul (Barbara) Fagan of Orville, California; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Jon; and her parents, Clair and Lucille (Kellen) Griswold. Vicki Dee Griswold Fagan was born September 28, 1943, at Lake City, Iowa. She graduated from Rockwell City High School, with the Class of 1961. On August 19, 1962, she was united in marriage to Jon Mahlon Fagan at the Jolley Community United Methodist Church in Jolley. Vicki worked at the National Bank of Rockwell City, later known as the United Bank of Iowa from 1966 until her retirement as Vice President in 2006. Following Jons retirement from farming, the couple made their home at North Twin Lakes. In 2010, they became residents of Sunnyview Independent Living. Jon passed away in 2011. Vicki was a member of the United Methodist Church, Rockwell City Chamber, and the Experimental Aircraft Association.
