Troy Waller

Troy W. Waller, 51, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. A Celebration of Troy's life will be held on Friday, March 12th at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with the family present from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Friday. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. The family requests that everyone please dress comfortable and casual. Survivors include his wife Angel of Fort Dodge, daughter Ciara, grandson Roman, mother Sonya Waller of Fort Dodge, brother Mike (Triny) Waller of Fort Dodge, sister Janelle (Mark) Becker of Centerville, IA, mother-in-law Pat Draper of Fort Dodge, aunts Carol Waller and Deanna Harris, nieces Kylie (Jeff) Moore, Quinn (John Noble) Becker, numerous cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father Gordon Waller, grandparents Boyd and Arline Waller, Jake and Billy Barlow, uncles Larry Waller and Randy Barlow, and John Harris. Troy Waller was born on May 28, 1969 in Fort Dodge. He was raised and educated here and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1987. He then attended Iowa Central Community College and later Iowa State University. In 1991, Troy started "Troy Waller Auto Body" which he still owned and operated. His shop won numerous awards for customer satisfaction and excellence in craftsmanship. He was big supporter of many charities, events, and schools in the Fort Dodge area. Troy most loved his time spent with his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
