Tod Lee Sassman

Tod L. Sassman, 60, of Fort Dodge passed away Monday, August 19, 2019 at his home. A private family service will be held at a later date. Tod is survived by his daughter, Amanda (Kalan) Guthrie of Otho, grandchildren, Carter Sassman, Kaylie and Kaiden Guthrie, Alexis Sassman, Dustin and Cassie Welch, brothers, Kim (Mindy) Sassman of Shirbourn, MN, Mark (Kim) Sassman of Kingsburg, CA, and Danny (Claudette) Sassman of Fort Dodge, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Joyce (Heetland) Sassman and his son, Ryan Sassman. Tod Lee Sassman was born June 16, 1959 in Algona, IA. He attended area schools and graduated from Boone Valley High School in Renwick in 1978. He then moved to Fort Dodge and worked at various jobs, most recently Country Inn & Suites. Tod enjoyed boating, camping, riding his motorcycle, going to the races and spending time with his grandchildren. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
