Tanner Roberts

Tanner W. Roberts, 30, of Fort Dodge passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 28, 2015 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating. A visitation will be 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, with a Vigil at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Tanner is survived by his wife, Amy; daughters, Piper Roberts and Haley Evans; parents, Mike and Tina (Ryan) Roberts of Barnum; brother, Walker Roberts of Fort Dodge; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Tanner William Roberts was born August 3, 1985 in Storm Lake. He was raised in Barnum and graduated from Manson Northwest Webster in 2003. Tanner was united in marriage to Amy Weiss September 17, 2011 at Corpus Christi Church. The couple established their home in Fort Dodge. For the past five years Tanner had been employed with Graham Tire. Tanner truly was a "grease monkey." He enjoyed working on cars and was an avid racing fan. He enjoyed hunting and being outdoors. Most of all, Tanner was a proud dad. Dirty finger nails and all, Tanner attended countless tea parties and he never wanted to miss a moment with his daughters. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
