Rosemary -- Lampe

Rosemary Lampe 85, of Ottumwa and formerly of Clare passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Ottumwa Regional Health Center. Funeral services will be 10:15 AM Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and 11:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Matthews Church in Clare with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Palmer. A visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 TODAY at the funeral home with a Rosary at 4:30 and Vigil at 7:00. Rosemary is survived by her daughter, Mary (Bruce) Conlon of Ottumwa; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Margaret Ann Huibsch of Joplin, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Maggie (Doyle) Fitzgerald; husband, Frank; granddaughter, Daphney; brothers, Joe, Tom, and Ray. Rosemary was born August 14, 1928 in Clare. She graduated from St. Matthew's High School. Rosemary was united in marriage to Frank Lampe in 1950 at St. Matthew's Church. The couple continued to farm in the Palmer area until 1960 when the couple established their home in Clare. In 2007 Rosemary moved to Ottumwa to be with her daughter. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
