Judy K. Fowler

Rockwell City – Judy K. Fowler 79, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023 unexpectedly at her home. Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at the United Methodist Church, Rockwell City, with Pastor Denise Berns officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Church until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the discretion of the family. Palmer & Swank Funeral Home, Rockwell City is serving the family.

Judy is survived by her children, Bill Fowler of Jefferson, Jerry (Brenda) Fowler of Rockwell City, Kriss (David) Geis of Duncombe, and Kevin (Amy) Fowler of Cherokee; grandchildren, Brianna Fowler, Nathan (Hannah Frisk) Fowler, Evan (Brittany) Jackson, Eliza Geis, and Zane Geis; great-grandchildren, Archer and Oliver Jackson; extended family, Mike (Miranda) Wahl and their children, Kenzie and Maxton, and Zach (Lindsey) Wahl and their children Kailer, Elliana, Madalynn, and Evelyn; and other relatives and a host of friends. She preceded in death by her husband Kelly; and parents, Tom and Clara (Brandel) Hardaway.

Judy Kay Hardaway was born March 7, 1944 at Carroll, Iowa. She attended Lohrville Schools. On November 11, 1961 she was united in marriage to Kelly Fowler at Lohrville, Iowa. The couple lived in Lohrville then made their home in Rockwell City. Judy worked various businesses in the area including the Boat Marina, Jim’s Super Valu, Helen’s Hallmark, and Wahl McAtee until her retirement. Kelly passed away in 1998. Judy was an active member of the United Methodist Church, UMW, Bell Choir, and Eastern Star. She will be missed by the many that know her.
