Jimmy Dillard

Jimmy Lee Dillard Sr.,60, of Fort Dodge, IA passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Trinity Regional Medical Center, Fort Dodge, IA. Jimmy L. Dillard was born on May 20, 1954 in Meridian, MS. As a young child the family moved to Fort Dodge, where he attended Fort Dodge schools. He met his high school sweetheart, Mona Harrison in the summer of 1971. They established their home in Fort Dodge and later married on April 26, 1984. Jimmy worked various jobs, including Fort Dodge Asphalt, Geiss Construction and Roysters Trucking. His favorite past time was hanging out with his family and friends and especially taking care of his grandchildren. He also loved to fish, play the PlayStation, jamming out to his music and watching his favorite TV shows. Survivors include his wife, Mona Dillard of Fort Dodge; son Jimmy Dillard Jr.(Kourtney) of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Jimmy Dillard III, Jodey Dillard Jr., Fort Dodge, Trever Ely, Moorland, IA, Jayden and Jaelynn Ray, of Fort Dodge, IA. His sisters; Rosie Clayton of Clinton, IA, Brenda Dillard of Waterloo, IA, and brother, Donald Dillard of Fort Dodge, IA. Sisters in law, Roxanne Phillips(Doug), Kelly Chada(Dean), Stephanie Harrison(Shawn) and Shelly Harrison. Brother in law Trent Harrison(Bobbi Jo). He was preceded in death by his son Jodey Dillard; parents O.C. and Annie Bell Dillard; father and mother in law Benny and JoAnn Harrison; grandparents Ray and Beulah Mae Seals; brothers Willie and James Dillard. A memorial service will be held at Agape Church Kingdom Dominion Ministries on Saturday March 14, 2015 at 12pm, A visitation will be held from 11am until the time of the service.
