James D. Donahe, 32, of Fort Dodge, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 2015 in the chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. James is survived by his wife, Melissa; children, James Memphis, Jiselle, and Seth Hanson, all at home; parents, Mary (Beam) Donahe-Richman; Jay Richman; Jim & Jody Donahe all of Fort Dodge; sisters, Jennifer Norris of West Des Moines; Jessica (Matt) Sanders; Katie Donahe both of Fort Dodge; grandparents, Bev & Phil Beam; Jim Donahe Sr.; Dona Richman all of Fort Dodge; mother and father-in-law, Brian & Nancy Schmidt; sister-in-law, Teresa Myers (Jon) all of Fort Dodge; and 9 nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gwen Donahe; and his father-in-law, Terry Graves. James Dale Donahe was born December 22, 1982 in Fort Dodge. He attended schools in Fort Dodge, going to Sacred Heart Junior High and later Fort Dodge Senior High, graduating in 2002. Following his education James began his employment with National Gypsum for many years. On June 17, 2006, he was united in marriage to Melissa Graves and the couple made their home in Fort Dodge. For the last 7 years he worked for Koch Nitrogen Industries. James loved his children, nieces & nephews; dogs, Angel, Natty, cat, Cutie Pie; as well as hunting, fishing, bike riding, and his Harley's. James will be missed by all who knew him. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
