Betty Runyan

Betty J Runyan, 72, of Fort Dodge passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center, Des Moines. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Laufersweiler- Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. Betty is survived by her children, Ann Wiese and Michael Runyan both of Fort Dodge; brothers, Gene; Larry (Kim) both of Stratford; sisters, Nancy Runyan; Colleen Milburn both of DeSoto; Linda (Stan) DeVore of Chariton; and Rose (Mike) Dopita of Fort Dodge. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Gloria (Carlstedt) Runyan; uncle, Ed; and brother, Ron. Betty Jane Runyan was born November 5, 1946 in Boone. She attended school in Newell and graduated from Newell Providence High School. She them made her home in Boone, and later in Webster City. In 1985, Betty and her family moved to Fort Dodge. She provided child care and worked as a CNA at the Marian Home. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
