Robert Jonathan Lockman was born July 20, 1937 in Fort Dodge. He was raised and educated in Fort Dodge. In 1961, he was united in marriage to Edna Harper and the couple established their home in Fort Dodge. Robert worked for Martin Marietta for over 29 years until retiring in 1999. He attended Coppin Chapel AME Methodist Church. As an avid antique collector, Robert enjoyed tinkering with cars and other antiques. He loved going to car shows and sitting in the garage just listening to music. He enjoyed taking walks. Robert was well-known around town and had many friends. The love he had for his family shone the brightest of all. We will miss our father, grandfather, brother and uncle dearly. Forever in our hearts.
