Sorenson - 89, of Somers, died Friday, March 12, 2010 at Tompkins Memorial Health Center. | | Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 16th at Fulton Lutheran Church in Roelyn with Rev. Jim Davis officiating. | Burial will be at the Fulton Lutheran Cemetery.
| | Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. | Surviving are her daughters, Linda Wright and her husband John Victor of Jackson, MS, Brenda Sorenson of Somers; grandchildren, Todd Wright, Christina Wright, Christopher Tasler, Marta Decker and her husband Jeremy; a sister, Anita Lindstrom and her husband Paul of Kittery, ME; sister-in-laws, Donna A. and Donna L. Moe, Joan Eldal and her husband Don; brother-in-law, Andy Sorenson and his wife Joyce. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lars and Reita (Cripps) Moe; her husband, Chester; and two brothers, Howard and Clifford Moe.
Chloris Moe was born June 6, 1920 in Moorland where she attended school, graduating from Moorland High School in 1937. On June 16, 1940 she was united in marriage to Chester Sorenson and they established their home north of Roelyn. In 1945, they moved to a farm near Somers, where they farmed until 1980.
Chloris was a member of Fulton Lutheran Church and Fulton WELCA.
