She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Roger E. and Beverly Messerly.
Abbie Hankel was born on July 2, 1980, in Fort Dodge. She attended schools here and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. Following her education she was employed at various jobs in Fort Dodge. She loved listening to music, shopping, and going to church to worship the Lord. Abbie especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She had a special relationship with her grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
