| | Memorial service will be held on Friday, February 19th, at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with the Rev. Shane Deman officiating. | | Burial will be at a later date. | | Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. | Survivors include- her husband Patrick of Fort Dodge; daughter, Chastity Flanagan of Newton, WI; son, Shane Martin of Omaha, NE; 6 grandchildren; brothers Bob and Leroy Clapper both of Humboldt, Dennis Clapper of California, Keith Clapper of Nebraska; and her sister, Resa Swinderman of Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dale and Vera (Nelson) Clapper; brother Rodney Clapper; and a sister, Judy Potter.
Michelle Le Rae Clapper was born May 20, 1956, in Iowa City. She attended schools here in and Fort Dodge. Following her graduation from Cosmetology School she was a hair dresser and a homemaker for many years. Michelle enjoyed riding her motorcycle, and spending time with her family and friends.
