Lonnie Dooley, 60, of Bode, died on Sunday, September, 6, 2009, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice House.

Lonnie Edwin Dooley, 60, of Bode, IA, died on Sunday, September 6, 2009 , at the Paula J. Baber Hospice House in Fort Dodge .

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September, 12th at 2: 00 P.M. at the Salvation Army, 126 N. 7th St. , with Major Deborah Lee Agnew officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the services.

Lonnie is survived by his daughter Laurie of Fort Dodge; son, Tommy of Cedar Rapids; sister, Pamela Elaine Lybarger of Joplin, MO, ex wife, Dakota of Fort Dodge , sister-in-law, Bonnie Dooley of, grandchildren, Perry Scott Dooley, Amber Lynn Anderson, Kate Diamond, Krystal Elaine Dooley, and Katelyn Dooley, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Donnie Edward Dooley and his twin Ronnie Dooley.

Lonnie Edwin Dooley was born on January 23, 1949 , in Waterloo , Iowa to Ace Kenneth and Dorothy Jeanette ( Davis ) Dooley. On May 31, 1968 , he was united in marriage to (Laurie Kay Crouse) Dakota Sky Davenport and to this union were born Laurie Lee Dooley and Tommy Allen Dooley. He served in the U.S. Navy, and was later employed as a custodian for ICCI Workshop, now known as Lifeworks. He enjoyed country music, walking, model cars, fishing, calling bingo, involved with ham radio, CB, and telling jokes and stories.
