METAL CASKETS
Bronze
Bronze, a semi-precious material and an alloy of copper and either zinc or tin, is the strongest and longest lasting of any casket construction material.
Bronze is resistant to corrosive elements, an important consideration in selecting a casket.
Aurora's bronze caskets are available with a hand-applied natural brushed finish.

Coral Mist Bronze
Copper
Copper is considered a precious metal, and evidence of its longevity rests in the original copper roofs and pipes which survive in the world's great architectural gems.
Copper also resists corrosion. It is one-third stronger than stainless steel and available in 32-ounce weight.
Aurora's copper casket finishes are natural, brushed, or painted; finishes are applied by skilled artisans. This natural and precious metal expresses a remarkable life.

Stainless Steel
Aurora pioneered the use of stainless steel in casket manufacturing more than 35 years ago. Today, stainless steel continues to provide the greatest value to families and funeral homes.
Not only does it offer the quality and durability of copper and bronze for the price of standard steel, but it's a product that families understand and value in their everyday life.

The range of colors - from respectful blues, browns, blacks, and grays to peaceful pastels in purples, pinks, and blues - makes each selection unique.

HARDWOOD CASKETS
Hardwood
A natural, environmentally sound choice for caskets, hardwood is strong, beautiful and shock-resistant. When families choose a hardwood casket, they are leaving a legacy for the next generation because wood is a renewable resource.
Our Hardwood burial caskets are manufactured with the care and detailing of fine furniture. The caskets undergo a 2-1/2-day, six-stage production process that ensures consistent quality through craftsmanship and attention to details.
After the casket is assembled, it is hand-rubbed with multiple coats of lacquer. Hardwood caskets are completed with a full-polished, hand-rubbed high gloss or satin finish. While all Aurora hardwood caskets can be cremated, we also offer a selection of hardwood caskets that are ideally suited for cremation.
Aurora offers a complete line of hardwood caskets from inexpensive veneers to high-end mahoganies.
